Description

Blizzard Women's Black Pearl 84 Flat Ski 2027

They've kept the name of the best-selling women's ski of all time, but redesigned the ski from the ground up.

The Blizzard Black Pearl 88 Skis feature a new W.S.D. (Women Specific Design) Trueblend Flipcore Core of Beech and Poplar woods, and a freshly shaped top laminate of Titanal that's separated into two pieces instead of a single sheet.

Bottom line, though, is the best selling women's ski of all time is as good as ever and accessible to an even wider audience than before.

The Black Pearl 84 is built to trench fresh corduroy, slice through crud, and bite into ice—and dabble in the trees from time to time, thank you very much. With a women’s specific TrueBlend woodcore, it’s both nimble and stable, effortless and strong. With these on your feet, you may never pray for powder again.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate-Advanced
TERRAIN: Carving, All-Mountain
ROCER TYPE: Rocker/Camber/Rocker
TURNING RADIUS: Short

Rocker Camber Rocker: Ski profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.

TrueBlend W.S.D. All Mountain Core: TrueBlend core of Beech with seven stringers of Poplar, tailor-made for each length of ski, using lighter Women's Specific Design woods.

Two-Piece W.S.D. Titanal Laminate for Grip and Stability: No longer a single sheet of Titanal, the Black Pearl uses a two-piece laminate with a sheet of fiberglass in between the layers. The upper layer of metal resembles the shape of the FluxForm Titanal layer in the Sheeva skis and the lower layer fills in the gap in the center.

Sandwich Compound Sidewall: All Blizzard skis with the exception of some junior skis are built with ABS or Phenol sidewalls for superior performance (stability, power transmission, handling) and durability.

Sintered Graphite Base

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
